Determining keywords from a range of sources comes first. Critically I share the monthly search volumes for these search terms with you too. In my experience, no other agency has been ever prepared to freely volunteer this information. However this, along with intent, is vital, to determine whether a keyword is even worth considering for the considerable time and effort needed to optimise a page on your website.
A ranking report for your existing terms and importantly their search volumes is generated to determine what pages are already ranking well and for what terms. After all, there's no point trying to get a page to rank for a specififc keyword when another page may already be ranking well for it. Moreover, it can also determine where keywords that were believed to have been targetted for pages have failed at this point to rank.
Since I look across a wide range of keywords I also consider keywords that might not be suited to any particular page on your site. These opportunity keywords may be worth the investment in the creation of a page or a post given the right search volumes, which I share with you, and the right intent, which I discuss with you.
There's no point simply identifying a long list of possible search terms without then determing the best exising pages that are suitable candidates to house these keyterms. So when you receive your analysis you get a sitemap with pages identified along with proposed title and H1 tags along with metadescriptions. This makes each forthcoming page optimisation much easier to progress.

Marketing packages offered are entirely customisable and though each one will very much have the same structure to the examples above there is a huge amount of scope for tailoring to a specific client. For instance, for a local SEO project the client may have a speciffic review platform, for instance TripAdvisor, that is vital to them so for the Review Templates I set up I would add this channel or possibly replace a less important or relevant channel.
